This short film was created was made in part as a reaction to the growing pandemic and how I had felt as we had moved to online classes when this was made. The prompt for the project was "art in unusual places" so the film was heavily rooted in that idea as well.

Wanna Die, 2022
Stop motion collage animated film
Running time: 25 seconds

This stop motion film was made from cut paper for a project in my Animation in the Physical World-class at UMBC where I took a dialogue line and created context and lip-synced to it. The original dialogue is from a public domain comedy show, so the original tone was comedic. However, I found a dark undertone that I wanted to express along with my own personal dealings with depression.
